I bought this dress for a wedding I was invited to in the winter. I got so many compliments! The color is so rich and it is so flattering on the figure. I normally wear size 8 and I purchased a size M and had no issues with the size. I would say it had decent stretch to it. I had to take in the waist an inch and pin the front a bit just for a little more modesty. The only thing I'd say about this dress is because of the soft velvet material, it was annoying to have to keep pulling down because it would slide up a bit with walking and didn't help that my tights under were soft as well. Not a deal breaker for me though I was sad to take it off at the end of the night!
